A digital signal is generated by the player with no degradation or jitter, then converted to analog by the DAC, and transmitted to the amplifier via high-quality audio circuitry. The Yamaha CD-C600-RK CD players offers Pure Direct, a listening mode that provides high-quality analog audio output, a popular feature in Yamaha amplifiers and receivers. With the press of a button, Pure Direct will shut down the digital audio output on the front panel of the unit or on the remote control, turning off the display in order to achieve the lowest possible noise interference. The Yamaha CD-C600-RK also features an RS-232C, IR InOut, and a PlayXchange function that allows for CDs to be changed while current program material is playing without disruption.
